Gregory is an artist living in Alameda, California. He is a lead type lover, comic-book fan, designer, programmer, and a devotee of the power of steam. He works in a variety of media and methods deeply studied and combined, from experimental analog photography to digital film making, from figurative life-sized sculpture to crowd-sourced technology, from tagging to traditional Japanese calligraphy. He has studied and worked closely with Meghann Riepenhoff, and is currently a photo assistant for Nigel Poor and Richard Misrach. His is a founding member of the photo group 1/5th As Good. He received his BFA in photography from SFAI, and is currently pursuing his MFA at Mills College. He has exhibited on both east and west coasts, as well as in many non-traditional formats around the country and internationally. His is currently using pinhole photography combined with instant film to dive into the surreal exploration of dreams and nightmares.
